Complimentary Prestige level Membership with Amex
From now until 28th February 2023, holders of the Amex Platinum Charge Card, are invited to sign up for Paragon Club membership, of which they will receive a complimentary upgrade to Prestige tier.
Usually, shoppers at Paragon Club need to spend S$15,000 to qualify for Prestige tier.
So, getting this in the bag without a minimum spend requirement is a pretty sweet deal.

I love the American Express Platinum Charge Card as the lifestyle and dining benefits offered are practically unrivalled. I’ve written a post on its benefits as well – so do check that out for more information.
Previously, this space was dedicated to referral links for American Express credit cards. As mentioned in my blog update, I will no longer be providing referral links going forward. Paragon Club Lounge
Personally, the nicest benefit from the membership – is the access to Paragon Club Lounge itself.
They do have all day coffee and tea services, which is awesome. After a full day of shopping, if you need a break, it’s the perfect place to chill and get a drink.

There’s also some meeting rooms (subject to availability) that I’ve used for private online meetings and for work. It’s recommended to call and book in advance, but I’ve never had a problem securing a room with a few days notice.

Outcome of Application
For me, I received an email confirming my Prestige status within two weeks of the card application. Joy!
Of course, I had to visit the Paragon Lounge after this.
Bonus: the husband came along too. Prestige members can bring in up to ONE guest with you when visiting the lounge.
Caffe Latte and my new Senreve Aria bag.
The Paragon Club Prestige tier membership is valid for a 12 month period. After that, members have to spend S$15,000 in a year to maintain the membership.
While I doubt if i’ll truly spend that much in a year at Paragon (unfortunately I do not really shop there), for the next 12 months, I’ll be enjoying coffee here when I do head down to Orchard road area.
